March 31, 2015 by Scott Ringlein Leave a Comment

Learn about Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing at a free panel discussion, “Keeping PACE with Energy Efficiency in Michigan,” Thursday, April 23 from 3-6 p.m. at Lansing Community College, West Campus, 5708 Cornerstone Dr., Lansing, MI 48917.

Event logoMichigan’s PACE finance expert Andy Levin, president of Levin Energy Partners LLC and Lean & Green Michigan finance district, will be on the panel.

PACE allows business owners to realize immediate positive cash flow while using less energy and providing new, more efficient energy technology and often safer, quieter, and brighter work environments.

“PACE is just win-win all the way around. We need to get the word out, so companies can take advantage of this,” says Ringlein, CEO and founder of EAG of Michigan, a PACE Project Developer, and host of the April 23 event.

Already 11 Michigan counties and four cities (see list below) have approved a public/private partnership with Lean & Green Michigan to be PACE finance districts.

Commercial, industrial, multifamily, non-profit and faith-based property owners within PACE districts can take advantage of Lean & Green Michigan PACE, which offers long-term, fixed-rate financing solutions for energy efficiency, water efficiency and renewable energy upgrades. The savings generated from such projects exceed the PACE loan repayments, thereby generating immediate positive cash flow for property owners.

The April 23 event is aimed at helping business owners and managers, contractors, and people working in energy efficiency and finance understand PACE and the process involved in a PACE project.

Scott Ringlein, CEO & Founder of The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan, will moderate the panel, which includes:

  • Andy Levin,President of Levin Energy Partners LLC and Lean and Green Michigan PACE finance district;
  • Terry Judge,CEO & Founder of CORE Solutions Group, The Cost Recovery Experts;
  • Curt Monhart,Vice President of Sales and Marketing at The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan.
