EAG, Srinergy to partner on solar

June 9, 2014 by Scott Ringlein Leave a Comment

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 9, 2014

Energy Alliance Group (EAG) of Michigan and other smart companies like Novi-based Srinergy are forming partnerships to bring their clients the best in energy efficiency and/or energy generation.

Srinergy is an end-to-end solar energy solutions company with sales, design and engineering services for commercial, residential and non-profit organizations. Srinergy logo

The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan, with offices in Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, is an energy solutions company providing energy-saving products, technologies and services. EAG takes the guesswork out of an overwhelming number of potential energy-saving solutions, with the most effective technologies in terms of performance and life cycle costs. Energy Alliance Group logo

“Revamping an existing building to be more energy efficient often requires multiple solutions, especially if all energy-consuming and/or producing systems are considered. Because no company is an expert in all areas, we seek out the best and partner to work with them,” said Scott Ringlein, CEO of EAG.

Prasad Gullapalli, CEO of Srinergy (the “Sri” stands for socially responsible individual), is excited to be working with EAG. “I’m looking forward to solarizing EAG clients and helping create comprehensive solutions for their energy needs. EAG and Srinergy also will work together to find the best financing option available to clients,” he added.

Both companies are advocates for the relatively new PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) program which is a cash flow-positive finance program offered in Michigan through Lean and Green Michigan.
Along with other solar capabilities, EAG will begin offering Srinergy’s Power Purchase Agreement, a solar finance tool that allows client long-term consistency in electricity pricing.

“We design and install the solar systems and facilitate 20 year financing through third party financiers. That generally brings the cost down long-term and offers consistent pricing, which is really great for our clients,” said Karin Viola, Srinergy Business Development Manager.

“We believe the best model is for companies to work together. We may be part of projects that EAG initiates and they may be part of some that Srinergy initiates. We are both very good at what we do and we can help each other, Gullapalli added.

The companies already have started working on several projects together, one with a company in Canada, a manufacturer in Warren and others with Washtenaw and Wayne county non-profit organizations.

EAG also has partnerships with other companies that provide services in the areas of heating and cooling, lighting, air compression, natural gas provider selection, recycling, energy audits, telecommunications, finance and more.
