Ringlein to be guest on May 31 EmeraldPlanet TV

May 27, 2015 by Scott Ringlein Leave a Comment

Scott Ringlein, CEO of The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan, will appear as a guest Sunday, May 31 on the EmeraldPlanet’s television program on “The Future of Detroit.” The EmeraldPlanet hopes to explore Detroit and its on-going recovery as it relates to sustainable development, ‘green’ jobs, renewable energy, resources conservation, waste management and urban agriculture.

“We’re very excited to be part of this program and, more importantly, to be able to help Michigan companies and organizations become more energy efficient,” Scott Ringlein, CEO, The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan.

EmeraldPlanet logoThe EmeraldPlanet weekly television programs, produced by EmeraldPlanet International Foundation in its Washington DC studio, are broadcast and distributed via public access Channel 10 TV in Fairfax, Virginia. The programs are currently available in all countries and territories around the world. The foundation seeks to identify 1,000 “best practices” as they pertain to the environment and the promotion of alternative energy sources.

The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan is an energy solutions company and utilizes and promotes many of these best practices. EAG also is leading Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) project development in Michigan.

EAG works with owners of commercial and industrial buildings to plan and implement holistic and comprehensive energy efficiency improvements. With this holistic approach, EAG can offer its clients solutions that may not have been considered due to lack of capital or long payback periods. In addition to working with commercial and industrial clients, EAG recently has formed an agriculture division to target energy savings in that segment.

With Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE), EAG connects businesses with 100% financing to pay for energy improvements. PACE allows qualified property owners to finance projects using long-term loans that are repaid through a voluntary property tax assessment. This innovative method of energy efficiency project financing eliminates the need for up-front capital and provides property owners with immediate and steady positive cash flow.

That’s critical as 98% of all major energy efficiency proposals are NOT adopted due to lack of capital and unacceptable ROI. PACE financing solves those problems. EAG evaluates each client’s project through its “Four Cores”, of services, technologies, financing, and incentives, and guides its clients through each phase of the PACE process.

The EmeraldPlanet International Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 1973, with headquarters and television production studios in Washington D.C. The foundation’s leadership and associated experts work with research institutions, businesses, governments, universities, healthcare providers, clean water advocates, and non-governmental and community-based organizations with the common goal of arresting, and possibly reversing the ravages of climate change.

Ringlein will be appearing on the May 31st program with these other guests.

  • Joseph Corvidae, Executive Director, EcoWorks: Building Energy Solutions;
  • Janice B. DuMouchelle, President, Waste & Recycling Solutions, Inc.;
  • Trish Hubbell, Director of Marketing, The Greening of Detroit;
