Attend PACE presentation Sept. 9 in Grand Rapids

August 11, 2015 by Nancy Clay Leave a Comment

Learn about Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing at a free panel discussion, “Keeping PACE with Energy Efficiency in Michigan,” Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center, Grand Rapids Community College, 143 Bostwick Ave NE, Grand Rapids.

Michigan’s PACE finance expert Andy Levin, president of Levin Energy Partners LLC and Lean & Green Michigan finance district, will be on the panel, moderated by Scott Ringlein, president of The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan.

PACE allows business owners to realize immediate positive cash flow while using less energy and providing new, more efficient energy technology and often safer, quieter, and brighter work environments.

“PACE is just win-win all the way around. We need to get the word out, so companies can take advantage of this,” says Scott Ringlein, CEO and founder of EAG of Michigan, a PACE Project Developer, and host of the Sept. 9 event.

Already 15 Michigan counties and five cities have approved a public/private partnership with Lean & Green Michigan to be PACE finance districts, with more coming onboard all the time.

Current Lean & Green Pace districts include the counties of Bay, Calhoun, Eaton, Genesee, Grand Traverse, Houghton, Huron, Ingham, Kalamazoo, Macomb, Marquette, Montcalm, Saginaw, Washtenaw and Wayne and the cities of Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Rochester, Royal Oak and Southfield. A map of Michigan Lean & Green approved PACE finance districts is at the end of this article.

Commercial, industrial, multifamily, non-profit and faith-based property owners within PACE districts can take advantage of Lean & Green Michigan PACE, which offers long-term, fixed-rate financing solutions for energy efficiency, water efficiency and renewable energy upgrades. The savings generated from such projects exceed the PACE loan repayments, thereby generating immediate positive cash flow for property owners.

Scott Ringlein of The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan, will moderate the panel, which includes:

  • Andy Levin, President of Levin Energy Partners LLC and Lean and Green Michigan;
  • Justin Palm, President of LUMERICA, America’s LED Lighting Solutions Company; and
  • Curt Monhart, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan.

To register for the Sept. 9, please click here. Seating is limited.

The Energy Alliance Group of Michigan is an energy solutions and cost recovery company with offices and in Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids. The company provides energy-saving products, technologies and services.
